Hi I'm Marni

I'm a college student, I'm a nanny, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the youngest of 8 children, 7 older brothers and little old me! And yes I survived and loved every minute with those boys! I currently have 26 nieces and nephews and I love every single one of them! I am going to college right now (I'd like to go into the field of nutrition) and I nanny for one of my brothers on my off tracks. Some of my favorite things are singing (not the public kind where its all serious and its a big deal if you mess up, the kind where I'm jamming out in my car or belting it the shower like no ones listening), playing soccer, riding horses ( I don't have any horses but I would ride them every day if I could!), cooking (I love to try new recipes and I love making food for other people and the social aspect of food in general) and I love Love LOVE kids! I love taking care of my nieces and nephews and spending time with my whole family. There is nothing more important to me than my family.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the church, both my parents are members as were both of their parents, but just like every member of the church, I have had to gain my own testimony and conversion of the gospel. I have read the Book of Mormon: Another Testament of Jesus Christ and have prayed to my Heavenly Father to know if it is true and I am happy to say that I have received my own personal witness that it absolutely is! So why am I a Mormon? Simple, because the gospel is true!

How I live my faith

I am preparing to serve a full-time mission (18 months) as a representative of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the Pennsylvania, Pittsburgh Mission. I am so grateful for this opportunity that I have to share the wonderful message of the Restored Gospel of Jesus Christ to the people of Pennsylvania. I know this gospel to be true. It has been a great blessing and a comfort and strength to me in my life and I know that it will bless the lives of all those who accept it and live it.
