Hi I'm John Busby

My wife, Gail and I, live in Phoenix, Arizona. We are parents of three sons and have twelve grandchildren.

About Me

I thought raising my sons was great but having grandchildren is even more fun. We have three sons (and now we have three daughters) and twelve grandchildren. Each of our granchildren is unique and so much fun to spend time with. They have taught me more about my Heavenly Father's love for His children than I could possibly have imagined.

Why I am a Mormon

There are many reasons that I am a Mormon. I love Jesus Christ. He has changed my life and continues to do so when I let Him. I received a testimony of Jesus Christ through my study of the Book of Mormon. Without exception, every time I read the Book of Mormon, I feel the comforting presence of the Holy Spirit. So many times when I have needed help from my Heavenly Father I have found comfort, guidance and peace by reading the Book of Mormon.

How I live my faith

I am in my sixth year of teaching early morning seminary to high school juniors. I love it! It is so rewarding to spend time preparing to teach and then spending time with young men and women. They teach me more than I teach them.

Why is family so important to Mormons?

John Busby
The family is the building block of civilization and will exist into the eternities. It is the primary and most effective way to teach and maintain the standards that will bring us joy both in mortality and throughout eternity. Show more Show less
