Hi I'm Annie

I'm a sister, a daughter, and an aunt, I'm a hair stylist and a college student. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm the 5th child out of six, and I love my family. I love to hang out with my family, whether it is going to a lake and playing by it, or cutting their hair, or just talking with them. However my favorite thing is playing with my nieces and nephews because they are so cute and love me even if I cut their hair. I Just graduated from Cosmetology and love cutting and coloring hair, and also expanding my knowledge. I learned while in cosmetology school that I love learning about the human body, all of its amazing systems and functions, so I decided to go into Health Science at college after I finished my Cosmetology. I have only been in college for a year, but I am loving it. In my spare time I like to read books and play Ultimate Frisbee and Volleyball. While I am not the best player at either of these sports, I really enjoy them. I am preparing to head out on an eighteen month mission, where I will go out and share the gospel with others. I am so excited to go so that I can tell others how happy I am, and how the Church of Jesus Christ makes me even happier!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know that Heavenly Father loves me and wants me to be able to come back to him. I know that everything will turn out right, that no matter what happens in life, good will always win. I am thankful for the rules we have so that I can be happier and be able to do more with my life, and when I do sin that I am able to repent of my sins, and keep on working on making myself a better person. I love my family very much, and I know that we can live with our family forever, and I am so thankful for that! I know that Joseph Smith as a young man went out and prayed and saw Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. I know that Joseph Smith restored the gospel and was able to translate the Book of Mormon so that we have another testament of Christ.

How I live my faith

I teach the 14 year old on Sunday. It is super great, and while it is hard, it is completely preparing me for heading out on a mission. The new curriculum is great and it reminds me all the time that the best teachers are the ones that let the Holy Ghost and class members teach.

Why are Mormons asked to donate 10% of their income to their Church?

Heavenly Father has given us so much with out asking us to give him anything back. When he asks us to pay our tithing he is giving us the opportunity to receive more blessings and to give service to others. Show more Show less
