Hi I'm McKall

I love to sing, act, and dance. I'm a teacher and a student. I'm a country girl. I love food! I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a daughter of amazing parents and the sister of great sisters and a brother. I graduated with my Associate of Arts degree. It was really hard at times but honestly it was my faith in God that got me through the rough times. I taught dance and Musical Theater to children for about 4 years. Deciding to give up singing and dancing as well as teaching for awhile to go a on LDS mission was hard for me. At the time dancing and singing was what I thought gave me the most joy in life besides being with my family. But when I thought about how much God and Jesus Christ had blessed me, and how much belonging to the church had blessed me, I realized that I couldn't stay home and not share the gospel of Jesus Christ. I realized that it was the gospel that brought me the most happiness and that if I truly loved the Lord I would do anything he asked me, even if it meant not dancing and singing for a year and a half. Going on my mission to South Carolina was one of the best decisions I ever made. Seeing the happiness I could bring to others by being a tool in God's hands was a very humbling experience for me. My family is how I learned to live my faith. Our faith is something we share together and it is what brings us closer. I was homeschooled my whole childhood. I am so grateful for that oppertunity to learn from my mother. I know the church is true because I prayed to know for myself and God gave me my answer. It is because of the the church that I know how to be happy!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know that Joseph Smith is a prophet and that the Book of Mormon really is scripture! I know that because I have studied and because I have prayed to know. God always answers prayers and he answered mine. Learning about Jesus Christ gives me peace. Being a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints gives me peace. I know it is true and I love it!

How I live my faith

I try to be a good person and always do what Jesus Christ, our Savior, would do. Also, every year I volunteer and participate in the "Mormon Miracle Pageant" which is performed at the temple. It depicts scenes about Joseph Smith and the Book of Mormon. Each time I see those scenes I know even more that those things are true! I have the privilege of serving as a full time missionary in South Carolina. I love sharing the good news that Jesus Christ truly is our Savior and that the fullness of his gospel has been restored to the earth!

How do I become a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (Mormon Church)?

Meet with the missionaries! They can help you. When you meet with them they will share our beliefs and teach you the steps God has set to be ready for baptism by someone who has the priesthood authority of God. Show more Show less
