Hi I'm Charlotte Driscoll

I'm a house wife & mummy, the best job !! I live a 5 minute walk to the beach & LOVE my little life! And I'm a Mormon...

About Me

I'm a happy go lucky kinda girl! From a family where I consider myself lucky to have a mum & dad & a step mum & step dad also! I have an older sister, younger brother, half brother and step sister! I found the love of my life at 18 & waited 5 years to finally be married to him after he completed his two year mission as a missionary of our church! We were sealed for time and all eternity in the beautiful London Temple meaning we, our now almost 8 month old son & our future children to come can be together forever! There's no better feeling in the world than knowing this! I am a qualified beauty therapist however at the moment am concentrating on being a dedicated wife and mum! I consider myself a 'home maker'! And love every aspect of that! I have never been able to pin point exactly what I want as a career and after working as a live in nanny/ home maker for a few years I came to realise that is exactly what I love! Now I have started my own family I am absolutely certain that this is the best job in the world!! I can't wait to have a house full of kids!!! I love to sing (although I'm not much good! I just enjoy it!) I love to dance (again, im not great but it makes me feel happy!!) I love laughing with friends, walking along the sea front, spending quality time with my husband who makes me laugh like no one else can! And I love love love.... Watching my son grow a little each day!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I choose to be! I feel it makes me who I am and gives meaning to each day! I love the gospel and what it teaches, I love knowing my family truly is forever! My faith is what keeps me going in difficult times, when my son was born he was suddenly very ill and rushed to a specialist hospital and was fighting for his life. Many prayers all over the world were said by faithful church members who knew it was all we could do! I got through each day by praying continuously! I thought I may not get to bring my son home with me! It was predicted he would be in NICU for at least 3 weeks minimum... He was sedated and on 100% oxygen for days. At 5 days old I finally got to hold him in my arms! It was the best moment of my life! A short 10 days later we brought him home! With no ongoing problems! He's absolute perfection! Some may call that luck, we are 'lucky' to have him... I believe it's nothing to do with luck, our Heavenly Father was listening to those prayers, and he answered them! He had a plan and for whatever reason those 10 days were part of that plan! If it had gone another way and we weren't able to come home with our precious boy, however heart breaking it would have been, I would have got through it knowing I would one day be reunited with my boy and that he was safe in the arms of my family who have already gone... Being a morman helped me to get thought this and many other of lifes hard times.

How I live my faith

I live my faith through all that I do... I attend church on Sundays where I teach a class of 4-7 Year olds who Im sure teach me more than I teach them!! My husband, my son and I pray together daily and read the scriptures together. Our home is one of safety and love, honesty and compassion. My friends and family know and respect my beliefs. My faith is everything to me, I could not cope with the hardships we go through in life without it.
