Hi I'm McKenzie

I love the summer, laughing, and bananas. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a college student studying biology. I love being with family and friends laughing and playing games. I like movies, ceramics, and crazy sneakers. During the summer mowing lawns is my favorite thing. I recently got my mission call to El Salvador and am way excited!

Why I am a Mormon

I know that Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ restored the true and full gospel on the earth through the Prophet Joseph Smith. I know that the Book of Mormon is the word of God and is meant to help and guide us, along with the Bible and the Doctrine and Covenants. I know that through prayer I am speaking directly to Heavenly Father and that He hears me, and I know that He answers my prayers. I testify that we have a prophet on the earth today, Thomas S. Monson, and twelve apostles just like in times of old. This gospel brings me so much joy, and that's why I'm a Mormon.

How I live my faith

In church I love going to the meetings, hearing other people's insights and sharing my own. I love meeting with the women of the church and getting to know them.

Why do Mormons baptize their new members?

McKenzie
New members must follow the example set by Jesus Christ and be baptized by immersion by someone who holds the preisthood. When you are baptized all of your pervious sins are washed away, and you get a clean start. Show more Show less
