Hi I'm Lorilee

I enjoy crafting, floral arranging, and singing. I love being a wife a mother, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have been a life-long member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I grew up in Clinton, Utah, the 7th of 9 children. I was taught at a young age to be kind and serve others, so I try to live this way. I grew up performing with my family, and music is a huge part of my life. I also love family history, including scrapbooking and reading stories about my ancestors. I recently started a business arranging flowers, and I love seeing the joy that flowers bring to people. I believe that's what we're here for...to experience joy in spite of all the trials we experience in life. I have a husband who treats me like a queen, and six children who keep me on my toes, and my family is the thing that brings me the greatest joy!

Why I am a Mormon

I feel very blessed to have been born into a home with parents who taught the gospel of Jesus Christ. I have always had faith in Christ and have always believed that He is our Savior and Redeemer. I always trusted that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints was true, but at age 15, I had an experience where I truly felt I knew for myself that the Church was true. Living the standards of our church brings me peace. I love the opportunities the church gives me to serve others and our Heavenly Father. I have so much hope that we can be with our families forever, of knowing that I am of worth, that my Heavenly Father and Savior know me and love me. Being a member of Christ's church has taught me that. My testimony is priceless to me.

How I live my faith

I have had many opportunities to serve in my church and community throughout my life. I've had opportunities to organize activities for the women, youth, and children in our church, as well as teach and lead the choir. I have also served on many PTA (Parent Teacher Association) Boards at the various schools my children have attended, mostly with the Reflections Program. I love Reflections because it give students an opportunity to develop their talents and be creative, something that I love to do for myself!
