Hi I'm Kaela Cotton

I grew up in North Carolina. I enjoy helping and doing service for my fellow friends. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I enjoy playing all sorts of sports, but my favorite sport is soccer. I am very outgoing and I love to experience new stuff. I enjoy making people smile so I am a very joking kind of person. Not only do I enjoy sports, but I love doing crafts as well. I enjoy learning about different cultures and their different traditions. I love animals. I have two dogs and a cat of my own and I love them so much. I am going to school to be a nurse. I always wanted to do something that would help people so I figured being a nurse would do just that.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the church and so until I was the age of 15 I never really thought about if the church was true or not. I started wondering for myself if this is the true church. I started asking more questions about the church. Then one day my teacher in Sunday school was teaching us about Joseph Smith and his story. So that day when I went home that's all I could think about was all he went through just for this church so this church had to be true but I was not totally convinced. I remember that joseph read the scriptures and then prayed about it. So I decided to do the same. I started reading the scriptures and pondering about them everyday and then one day while I was reading and I felt this really strong and warm feeling and I knew it was the spirit letting me know that the this is the true church. Ever since then I have never doubted or question the church. I know that this church is true. I say this in the name of Jesus Christ Amen.

How I live my faith

I am very active in my ward. We do a lot of service projects for the community and I always try to make it out to help serve my community. I teach a Sunday school class. My kids in the class are ages seven and eight. They can sometimes be a hand full, but they are so sweet and I love teaching them and watching them grow spiritually.
