Hi I'm Cassidy

I grew up in Utah. I admire enthusiasm, determination, and unwavering faith. I'm a writer and I am proud to be a Mormon.

About Me

I'm from Herriman, Utah I swim, run, bike, hike, and play volley ball for fun. I love to read and write all kinds of things. I love Spanish and American Sign Language. I am majoring in language interpreting, ASL and Spanish in particular. I have been called to serve a mission in Málaga, Spain.

Why I am a Mormon

I've been a member of God's true church my entire life and I wouldn't have it any other way. I'm a Mormon because I find that I belong in the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I'm a Mormon because I find answers in the words of God, the place I find the most answers is in the Book of Mormon. I know that the Book of Mormon is the true word of God and goes hand in hand with the Holy Bible as a second testament of Jesus Christ. I know that we have a living prophet on the earth today and that Joseph Smith was truly called of God. I'm a Mormon because I know that no matter where I go in the world, the Gospel doesn't change. I'm a Mormon because I know without a doubt that God lives and his son, Jesus Christ, came to earth to atone for the sins of man. I think it is absolutely incredible that we are all sons and daughters of a loving Heavenly Father who loves us so much that he sent his only Begotten Son so that we can all return to live with Him again. That's why I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by understanding that each and every person is a son or daughter of our loving Heavenly Father. We are all different, but the Lord is no respecter of persons and he loves each and every one of us, unconditionally. Therefore, he wants us all to be happy and the only way to truly be happy is to follow the example of our Savior, Jesus Christ. I live my faith by trying to lift people up when the world is trying to bring them down. I bear my testimony of Jesus Christ and the Gospel through my actions and the way that I treat the people around me.
