Hi I'm Troy

I live in Escondido California. I grew up playing baseball, and basketball. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a BYU-Idaho student at the age of 21. I just returned from my mission to Calgary Canada. Growing up I played a lot of sports. Mainly baseball and basketball. I played all four years in High School. I grew up in the church although it wasn't easy it always blessed my life.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I want to live with God again. The only way to live with him again is through this church and through Jesus Christ. I know Christ died for everyone, he wants everyone to except him. I know that i will be blessed for serving this mission. I know that Joseph Smith was a prophet called by god to restore the church. I know president Monson is our leader today and is God's mouthpiece on the earth. I know we can only be truly happy through Christ and the church.

How I live my faith

I currently have calling gin my student ward at BYU-Idaho. I like my faith by relying on the Holy ghost to guide me. In my religion class at BYI we have been study grace. What is grace? Although we are only a couple weeks into studying about this topic Grace to me the difference, where Christ comes in. Four key things i look for with grace is: power, strength, deliverance and of course grace. When can't do it on my own and i am given the strength, power, or I am delivered then that is grace. To quote Brad Wilcox "Christ doesn't just make up the difference, he makes all the difference!" I know that to be true.
