Hi I'm Kyle Smith

I grew up in Rocklin, California. I have been called to serve in the Auckland New Zealand Mission. I'm a Mormon

About Me

I enjoy going hiking and exploring the outdoors. I love being in the water and swimming whether it is in a pool, a lake or the river. I am a Lifeguard and Rescue boat operator. I thrive off of helping other people out.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the Mormon religion but it wasn't until my late teenage years that I gained a testimony for myself of the truthfulness and joy that the gospel of Jesus Christ brings. I realized that I attend church each week in order to help myself, and to help others, grow closer to Jesus Christ. He is the center of the Mormon religion and should be the center of each of our lives. I know that Jesus sacrificed his life for all of my pain, sadness, affliction, sin, and anger so that I can feel peace and most importantly, return to live with my father in heaven again. He did this for not only me but also everyone else in the world. I will be forever grateful for Jesus’s Sacrifice. I know that Jesus Lives and that through the atonement anybody can be clean and repent of their sins. I have felt the atonement work in my life and will continue to feel it as long as I repent daily. I am so thankful for Joseph Smith and his sacrifice and example. I know that Joseph Smith restored the church through the proper authority of God. I know that he received and translated the Book of Mormon. I know and feel that Joseph Smith is a modern day prophet and I also know that Thomas Monson is the living prophet that has the keys and authority to lead the members and non-members of this world. I know exactly where I would be if I weren’t a faithful member of this church. I am very grateful for the knowledge that I have and for what I will learn as I trust in God.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by attending Church each Sunday and participating in the lessons that are taught. I look forward to going to church because I get to be surrounded by friends that all have the same values that I have and we help make each other better Disciples of Christ. Also, going to church gives me time to focus on what I need to do better the next week and how I can better serve the people around me.
