Hi I'm Kayla

I am a small town, Utah girl. I'm an athlete, a violinist, a daydreamer, and most importantly--I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a college student trying to figure out what I want to do with the rest of my life and loving every minute of it. Right now, my dream is to become a broadcast journalist. When I'm not in class or doing homework I love playing sports, especially tennis and volleyball, reading, hiking, crafting, and playing the violin. No matter what I'm doing, though, I'm all about family and friends! All of them will tell you I'm a big day dreamer. My latest adventure was spending a semester in London, England. The next big adventure I'm embarking on is serving a full time mission and I think it will be the best yet.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised in a Mormon family. However, I did have my struggles and had to come to know this church was true for myself. Through much prayer, studying, and all of the incredible examples I had supporting me, I experienced a complete change of heart. I went from not really caring about church to centering my life around my religion. My religion is my life. I know without a doubt in my mind this church is true and can't express how grateful I am to have it in my life. The relationship I have with my Father in Heaven is real and I wouldn't trade it for anything in the world. He loves me and he loves you. We are all his children and he wants more than anything for us to return and live with him. Because of this, I am a Mormon. I know it, I live it, I love it, and I wouldn't change a thing about it.

How I live my faith

I teach the 6-8 year old children during Sunday School and love every minute of it. I am currently preparing to serve a full time mission where I will devote 18 months of my life to sharing the gospel. The simplest, and often most meaningful, way I believe I live my faith though is by loving my neighbors and striving to let the light of Christ shine through me.
