Hi I'm Elizabeth

I'm from Michigan, I love biking and hula hooping, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a single woman and love being an aunt. I am active and am happiest being outside in the sunshine! I like to pretend I'm good at camping, but in my heart, I know I'm terrified of creepy crawlies and snakes. I love biking and hula hooping and I make and sell hula hoops!

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised in the LDS faith. Like all life-long members however, there came a time when I had to really think about whether I believed for myself or not. I studied the scriptures, prayed, and lived the gospel to the best of my ability and grew my own testimony. I continue to study and pray to keep my testimony strong!

How I live my faith

I live my faith by serving in the young women's organization. I'm in charge of organizing our camping trip this summer and teaching lessons on Sundays. I love working with the youth - they are such an example to me of living their beliefs! I read my scriptures every day in an effort to stay close to my Heavenly Father and be taught and guided by the Holy Ghost.

How can we come to know our Father in Heaven?

My relationship with my Father in Heaven is the most important thing in my life. I have drawn closer to him through prayer, mostly. I have felt reassurance from him and comfort. I have felt strongly that He is aware of me. Another way I have developed a relationship with my Heavenly Father is through serving others. When we serve others and pray for them, we feel how aware He is of them, which helps us to love them more. It also helps us to gain a testimony that He knows his children. And that includes me and you. And lastly, through reading the scriptures, we learn more of Him and we hear His words. The scriptures are a wonderful way to feel the Holy Spirit and learn more about our purpose in life, and the love our Heavenly Father and our Savior, Jesus Christ, have for us. Show more Show less
