Hi I'm Sister Beaumont.

I'm a missionary in Québec. I love singing and making music. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Music has always been a big part of my life. I have taken piano lessons since I was a young child and over the years, my love of music has grown and has become an integral part of my character. Through music, I can express my joy and love of the gospel to others in an open and inviting way. I am currently a full-time missionary in Canada and am loving every minute of it. By willingly giving of my time to others, I have come to love the people around me. It is such a blessing to be able to dedicate a year and a half of my life to my Lord and Savior. It is an incredible opportunity for me to be able to share something so special and dear to my heart with others.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints for my whole life. My parents taught me the gospel of Jesus Christ and I am eternally grateful for the lessons and principles that I have learned from them. Over the years, I have gradually built and developed my own testimony. As I have taken the time to study and feast upon the scriptures, I have come to know for myself that my Savior lives and that He loves me, which gives me hope for the future. I know that He is there for me. I can rely on Him and His Atonement in order to receive forgiveness, comfort, and peace. Because of this, my love for others has deepened because I know that we are all children of God. We have come to this earth to learn and to grow, and we can reach our fullest potential by living the gospel of Jesus Christ. I know that Joseph Smith was a prophet of God and that he translated the Book of Mormon. It's because of Joseph Smith that we have the Book of Mormon today. This book has provided me with direction and guidance in all aspects of my life. I feel nearer to my God as I read from its pages. I know that God loves us and that He has a plan for us in this life to be happy. Because He loves us, He will answer our prayers as we put our trust in Him, and He will also help us overcome all of our trials and tribulations. I love this gospel because it brings joy into my life. I would not be the person I am today if it were not for the lessons and teachings that this gospel provides.

How I live my faith

As a missionary, I have time set aside every day where I am able to study the scriptures, which is a huge blessing. By feasting upon the words of Christ, I am brought nearer to my Savior, as the Spirit is more abundant in my life. By reading the scriptures every day, I can receive personal revelation for me in my life. As a missionary, our purpose is to invite others to come unto Christ. As I invite others to come unto Christ, I am brought nearer to Him in the process. Our message is simple and beautiful, and it is an honour and privilege to share that with the world.

How can I know Mormonism is true?

Sister Beaumont.
I have come to know that Mormonism is true through the whisperings of the Holy Ghost, testifying to me that what I am reading or listening to is true. In the scriptures, we learn that if we ask God with real intent and with a pure heart, He will answer us. What a beautiful promise this is to us! All we have to do is have faith that He will answer us, and the answers will come. These answers may not be what we expect them to be, and they might not come when we want them to, but God knows each of us better than we know ourselves. He knows what we need and He will always help us along our way, if we put our trust and faith in Him. When I feel the Holy Ghost, I feel happy, peaceful, and full of joy. I want to share what I know to be true with everyone because of how it makes me feel. Show more Show less
