Hi I'm Mike

I grew up in American Fork, Utah. I love to play soccer and do practically anything outdoors. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I love to be outside doing things. I play soccer, frisbee, bowling, and a few other sports. I like trying new things. I like to be in the mountains where its all open and fresh air and such. I do enjoy reading here and there. I love watching movies. I really like meeting new people although it is somewhat hard for me. I try to be out going and as kind as i can no matter what. I am leaving for a mission pretty soon here. I will be speaking spanish. I also like playing video games. Something that i like about video games is "better graphics does not mean better game". I thoroughly enjoy the Legend of Zelda series. I played high school sports. I love listening to music. Without music I would be a totally different person. I love most genres of music. I like to help people and I feel that I can help lots of different people. I am also an Eagle Scout.

Why I am a Mormon

When I was 8 years old i had the choice on whether I wanted to be baptized or not. I was young, innocent, and had the feeling that being baptized was what I was supposed to do.

How I live my faith

Recently, my stake (group of wards) put together a Youth Leadership Course called Timberline. I was asked to be on staff and seeing as I was the only scout on staff who had any experience of being a staff member I was asked to be the Senior Patrol Leader. It took a few months to prepare a course that was ready and able to teach young scouts that would be spending a week in the mountains to learn about Leadership. I was able to oversee and be the person that people came too if they needed anything. I lead the entire course. The adult staff is there only to help when needed. If there was ever a question, the scouts came to me first and i'm grateful for that opportunity that I had to help serve those scouts to become future leaders. I am also a Ward Missionary in my current ward. I teach those who are in the ward and those who are not of our faith but live in the boundaries of this ward.
