Hi I'm Mark Laws

I'm a brother, a son, a pet owner, an excited new convert! An honors, and AP high school studet, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My name is Mark. I'm a high school student, and in a couple of years I will be off on my mission, which I cannot wait for! After my mission, I want to go to college and study medicine. I'm a son of divorced parents, so I live with my grandma and grandpa(they are totally awesome!). I generally try to be nice and help out everyone, though I know I fail at this at times. But hey, we're humans serving an awesome God!

Why I am a Mormon

wow, this is a toughy because there is so many reasons why. Numero uno, I started talking to sister missionaries over the phone, they are awesome. If it wasn't for them I wouldn't be where I am right now. After a while, I had missionaries come to my home. I was over whelmed with excitement. But... I cast it away and said this isn't for me. Through out the time that I left the church, I felt so miserable, and sad. I felt apart from my loving Father in Heaven. I returned, and I was welcomed home in loving arms by church family, and by my Father. I was a prodigal son, I was dead spiritually, but brought back to life. I was soon baptized, that was a day I know I will NEVER forget for eternity. I have never regretted coming home to the Church. I have been to many churches, and left them. Never did I feel so apart from God, and so guilty as I did when I left the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I love this church, and I know it's true. I know that I know that I know that I know that I know it's true. Remember, as Elder Holland says "if you have doubts, first doubt the doubts before you doubt your faith...if it was true then, it's true now"

How I live my faith

I go with the missionaries home teaching quite often, I also help spread the gospel to my friends and family, since I am the only member of Christ's church in my family. I do a lot of volunteer projects in the community and I always try to add my faith into it hoping to plant seeds of what LDS members are like.

Do Mormons only help Mormons?

Mark Laws
The church is normally always the first on the move when a disaster strikes. To say we only help out other Mormons is like saying the ocean is the driest place on earth. Show more Show less
