Hi I'm Tirso

I was born in Venezuela in a great family!

About Me

I am a 39 years old father of two married to a wonderful woman, sometimes is easier to talk about them since I spend most of my time with them! my wife is a hair stylist in Chapel hill NC, she is also from Venezuela and loves the North Carolina family environment, my oldest son is 18 years old he is a senior in East Chapel Hill High, he started swimming as a freshman but he stopped as senior due to the load in this last year his goal is to be a RN and he wants to attend UNC. My Daughter is 13, and needless to say she was a teenager since she was 12 she is growing fast, she goes to Phillips middle school, and loves writing... yes I said writing she is not the most brilliant in math but boy she can write, she wrote her first novel of 19 chapters and now she has fans in her school waiting for her next work! we have a dog named sussie and she snorts a lot.

Why I am a Mormon

I was baptized at 8 years old, it felt great to join my family as a church member, but the biggest reason I am a mormon is because the promises we make with our heavenly father are unique to our faith and the knowledge of that espiritual relationship makes me be a better person, improve my family and love my fellow men.

How I live my faith

Being a Mormon in Venezuela is not easy, there are a lot of political problems and intolerance for diversity my entire family are members of the church. My parents and my oldest sister still live there and enjoy attending church and sharing with our friend and neighbors. Me and my sister live in the United States since 1998, we came looking for a new life and a place to raise our children in peace with our faith, and we found the best friends and all the support of our fellow members.

What is the Book of Mormon?

Tirso
The book of mormon is another testament of the teachings of Jesus during his mortal ministry, if you take the opportunity to read it, please ask for understanding to our heavenly father and he will reveal in your heart if this books words are true. Show more Show less
