Hi I'm Braden Chinn

Born n raised in West Jordan, Utah. Utah for life. Baseballer. Golfer. A man on a mission, and I'm a mormon!

About Me

I was born in West Jordan, Utah and have lived there my whole life. My life growing up was all about sports. I breathed them. I played 14 years of baseball by the time I was 17, including 4 years of high school ball. Baseball is my life even though its been tough to move on and give it up as I got to college. Since I haven't been able to play baseball competitively anymore, I resorted to golf. I also played all 4 years of golf on the high school team. In the summer I go golfing at least 2 or 3 times a week. The golf course is just a place that I can go to forget about everything and relax and have fun with my family or friends. My family is my world, and I love them to death. Listening to all different kinds of music is also a big part of my life. I am currently serving a mission in the West Virginia Charleston mission and loving every second of it. Its so beautiful here and the people are beyond amazing.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints because I KNOW for a fact that this is His true church on the earth. I have a testimony of the Restoration of this church. I know that Joseph Smith was an instrument in God's hands to help restore His church back on the earth. I know that the Book of Mormon is true. I know that it was written by ancient prophets to testify of Jesus Christ, for proof later on that this church has been restored. I have a testimony of Jesus Christ's atonement. He suffered and was crucified for the sake of our sins because He loves us, and He wants us all to live with Him again with our families in the Celestial kingdom. He is my Savior. I know that He was perfect and the only reason that He was baptized was to show us the example of being baptized under the correct authority so that we may all be baptized in his name through the proper and restored priesthood. The biggest reason that I am LDS, is because I know that God loves me, and He wants the best for me, and ultimately He wants for me to live with Him again, and the only way I can do that is to keep His commandments, and live faithfully to Jesus Christ my entire life. This church is my life, and my focus on this earth. When I was 8 years old I was baptized into this perfect church. When I was baptized I was confirmed a member of the church and received the gift of the Holy Ghost. The Holy Ghost is what keeps me living the gospel. It guides me in my everyday life to do good.

How I live my faith

I go to church every sunday. The only reason that I wouldn't go to church is if I was on vacation or sick or something. I love feeling the spirit there. It is what keeps me going. The Holy Ghost whispers truths to me, and fills my heart full of joy as I listen to others testimony's of this gospel that I live. I am currently serving in the West Virginia Charleston Mission. I live my faith by reaching out to people here across the country to share with them the joy that I have from the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I want my brothers and sisters on this earth to know and feel of the truth that I am blessed with. I thank my Heavenly Father for all of my many blessings each and every day of my life. Life's good!
