Hi I'm Brent

I grew up in California. I am an Electrical Engineer. And, I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in the San Joaquin Valley. I studied electrical engineering on the central coast and earned two degrees, I married a wonderful woman, and we have four terrific children (two girls and two boys). We love to go to movies, and theme parks, and family vacations.

Why I am a Mormon

Although I grew up in the church, I had to decide my course in life by myself. I had a strong foundation with teachings from the Bible and other scripture such as the Book of Mormon. I found, as many eventually do, the need for spiritual connection. I started to read the Bible and the Book of Mormon and I felt the influence of the Holy Spirit. This was a warm comforting, peaceful, and happy feelings. I found that the people of the church were always helpful and caring. They all had their own problems, but they strive to focus on others, while forgetting their own problems temporarily. I know that the principles taught in this church are true and it gives me a drive to be a better person. I want to strive to be a helpful and productive contributor in our society, and strive to please God by helping his children in the process. I know that Jesus was the Son of God, who came to Earth to serve his three year mission, and sacrifice his perfect life; thus providing me the opportunity to give up my sins. I leave this with you in Christ's name, Amen

How I live my faith

Our family likes to participate in blood drives, community improvement service projects. i serve as a hometeacher to families in my church to help them spiritually, and to help them with temporal issues when needed. Frequently, we participate with community service projects in Carlsbad and Oceanside, CA.
