Hi I'm Garrett

I grew up in Las Vegas, Nevada. I play lacrosse, and I am a Mormon.

About Me

My name is Garrett. I love to play sports and to just spend quality time with my friends and family. I spend a good majority of my time either at the gym or playing a sport. I went to college for one year after high school and have spent the past year working while preparing myself to serve a mission. I will be serving my mission down south in Mexico. I am beyond excited to lose myself while serving the lord and the people of Mexico.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised in the church and was always active. I never really became a true disciple of the church until the thought of becoming a missionary actually set in. I have prayed and read the scriptures and have found out for myself that this church is true. I no longer rely on others testimonies to keep me active, but my own which is sure and strong like unto a rock.

How I live my faith

I live my faith in everyday life by keeping the commandments and upholding my virtue and chastity unceasingly. I love to talk to people everyday about my church and answer any questions they may have. I especially love being able to share my thoughts and feelings about my church in the work place and truly bare testimony of my faith by living by example. I also go home teaching and make it a goal to always visit the families assigned to me. On occasion I will teach Sunday school with all of the older people, where I usually learn about twice as much as i teach.
