Hi I'm Brett

I lived in Montana, I'm a drummer, and I own a chinchilla named Moose. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love the outdoors, taking every chance I can to hike, swim, fish, or whatever I can. Being from Montana does that to you, I guess. I love driving around in my truck named Jezebel and doing donuts in the snow. I was born in Ogden, Utah, moved to Greeley, Colorado when I was six, and finally made it to The Promised Land (Montana) when I was ten. My graduating class had 50 people in it, and we all knew each other whether we liked it or not. I worked at Subway for a while, so I'm now officially a "Sandwich Artist". I'm currently serving a mission in the Texas Houston East mission, from May 2013 to May 2015. When I'm done with it, I plan on going to college for aerospace engineering, probably at BYU Provo.

Why I am a Mormon

My family has been Mormon for generations, but that doesn't mean that I was forced into it. I made the choice to join when I was eight. I know that everything I do as a Mormon helps me in one way or another; I can honestly say that I'm a better person because of it. I can see the parts of my life where I know that without God's help, I wouldn't have been able to succeed or improve. I know that God is there for me, I know that Christ died for me, and I know that I want to show them that I want to follow them.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by attending church, reading the scriptures, and doing my best to follow Christ's example. Coming out on my mission was a difficult decision, but I knew that it was the right one. I'm working hard every day to bring people closer to Christ. Many times in my life, I've gotten discouraged about myself and my faith, but I know for a surety that my belief in God has never been wrong.
