Hi I'm Cailley

I'm a lifeguard, student, future missionary. I love life and being happy, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Hello! I'm Cailley and I'm a Mormon. I love life and I try to live it to the fullest by relishing the good times and learning from the bad. I love my job! I'm a lifeguard/swim instructor it's so fulfilling and I get to be surrounded by and meet new people all the time, and I feel like I'm doing a good service to my community though it may be a small one. Im a college student. I love almost all sports especially water based ones, I've played water polo 4 years, and competitively swam for 8. I love music, reading, and nature I can't think of many things that sound better than sitting outside reading a book, and when I see a sunset I can't help but feel the love of my Heavenly father. I'm a good listener and try to be available to give advice or simply listen and care. I can't wait to receive a mission call and go wherever the Lord needs me to bring his beloved children the gospel, and gain a stronger testimony of it myself.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon, not because I was raised that way, but because I developed a testimony of and a love for the gospel, my Heavenly Father, and his beloved son and my SavIor Jesus Christ. I know that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day saints is true, I've prayed about it and receive constant confirmations of its truthfulness. I've read the Book of Mormon and I've prayed about it and I know that the words written within it are the words of God, and I know that it and the Bible compliment each other perfectly and completely. I know that in order to return to my Heavenly Father and receive celestial glory I need to strive to become like my Savior and that conversion to this Gospel isn't a one time thing it's a consistent lifestyle choice, and that it will be and already is totally worth it. I know that because The Book of Mormon is true that Joseph Smith is a prophet of God and that he saw God the Father and his son Jesus Christ. I know that we have living prophets today. I know that this Church and this Gospel have given me indescribable joy, peace, and love and I wouldnt want to image my life without it.

How I live my faith

I treat my body like a temple and strive to behave and dress in a modest fashion. I use clean language and try to stand in holy places. I love going to church, it sets the mood for the rest of my week and it lifts my spirit to get me through the trials we all face in this life. I try to involve myself in everything church related and live a gospel centered life. When I see an apportunity to share my beliefs I immediately jump at it, because I want others to feel the overwhelming joy and love I receive from having the gospel in my life and living it accordingly. I read my scriptures, say my prayers, and try to be kind to and lift others around me, and when I slip up and I make mistakes I know that I can repent and be forgiven because of our saviors sacrifice and atonement. I'm waiting for my call to serve as a missionary and representative of my Savior and the church and I know wherever I go is where I'm needed.
