Hi I'm Rolf Alexis

I am an engineer who works in the automotive industry. I am a huge history buff and I am a Christian.

About Me

I am an engineer who loves finding solutions. In an effort to learn from others' experiences, I like to study history. I love to read and travel in order to feed my imagination. Life is short and I live my life in a way to make sure I do not have any regrets. I am happily married to my high school sweet heart and have two sports crazed kids. I love living in Michigan, but I like to travel to warmer places and learn about other cultures during Michigan winter months.

Why I am a Mormon

I am inspired by and believe in Jesus who is the Messiah foretold in the Bible's book of Isaiah. Jesus sacrificed himself for all of us. He exemplified and taught us on how to live forever, both in happiness and in accordance to God's will. Jesus lived, died and was resurrected. If we follow Jesus and try to be perfect, by His grace, we may do the same.

How I live my faith

As Jesus taught, we are at our best when we serve others. Whether it is teaching or mentoring at work, raising and educating my kids, volunteering in my community, coaching sports, scouting, or serving others in as well as outside of my congregation, I always seem to walk away with more than I had originally. Good things always seem to come from service to others.

What are Mormon Temples used for?

Rolf Alexis
Temples are houses of the Lord, where the Lord's work is conducted. This work involves sealing families together forever and in the presence of God. Show more Show less

Do Mormons worship Joseph Smith?

Rolf Alexis
No. We worship God and His son, our risen Lord, Jesus Christ. Joseph Smith, however, was a special man who was given information necessary to re-establish the whole Gospel in the world. This role was similar to that of prophets in the New Testament of which we are all familiar: Paul, Peter, John, etc. Show more Show less
