Hi I'm Kimberly

I was born in Michigan and raised in Nevada, Washington, and Utah. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a freshman in College right now, but in a few months i'll be putting that aside for 18 months to serve a Spanish speaking LDS mission in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. I couldn't be more excited. I enjoy jazz and other kinds of music, any books, most movies, and singing. I have a knack for recognizing actors and being able to list most every movie they have appeared in. I am the 4th child out of 5 children and I love my family! When we get together, it is the biggest party. After my mission, I plan to apply to the Elementary Education program so that ultimately I can become a first grade teacher.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born in raised in the church and leaned on my parents' testimonies for a long time. Around the age of 12, I started to gain my own testimony. I began to go to church and pray sincerely because I wanted to, not just because it was expected of me. When I followed what I was taught by my parents and church leaders, I recognized a feeling that I had actually been feeling for a long time. I felt joy from doing those things that I had been doing my whole life. Since that recognition of the joy and happiness that came from the Spirit of the Lord, I have continued to build upon my then small testimony. I have built up my testimony by doing small things like, reading my scriptures, praying to our Heavenly Father, and going to church every Sunday. By doing these small things, I have gained greater knowledge of this beautiful gospel. I know that the church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is true wit hall that I am. I know that Jesus Christ, our savior, lives and died for us. I know that the love of our Heavenly father is infinite. He knows each of us as His son or daughter, He knows us by name. I know that Joseph Smith saw the Father and His Son, Jesus Christ in the flesh, literally. I know that Joseph Smith was the lords prophet and I know that Thomas S. Monson is the Lord's prophet on the earth today.

How I live my faith

I am currently my ward's blood drive coordinator. I make sure everyone knows about the stake blood drives and help the ward members sign up. I love my calling.
