Hi I'm Christi

I love to travel, I've been all over the US, been to Mexico, and Africa, and so many other places, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My name is Mary Christina Cox. I was born on Christmas of 1992. I am the 6th of 16 children in a mixed family. In high school I loved Drama (on the stage not off it), I played basketball and softball and I was really involved in Student Counsel. I love to read and to learn new things and to travel and to be outside as much as possible. I love being social and getting to know new people and learn about new cultures. I was attending Brigham Young University but I decided to take a break and go on a mission.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised as a mormon and went to church every week while I was growing up but my conversion came when I was in high school. I started reading the Book Of Mormon and then I started to pray about it. The overwhelming feeling of peace and warmth that I recieved confirmed to me that this gospel is true. I know that the Book of Mormon is true. I know that the true gospel was restored through Joseph Smith. I know that my Heavenly Father loves me. I know that Jesus Christ is my savior and my redeemer. I love this gospel and I'm so greatful for all the oppportunities that it provides.

How I live my faith

I like to do service projects. My trip to africa was a humanitarian trip. I went to Kenta for a month and got to work at a deaf school, at an orphanage and meet and help so many wonderful people. In my community I try to get involved in service projects as well. I try to live my faith by trying to do what my Savior would do and help others even if I don't really feel up to it. And I have found that if I'm not in the mood for helping others then I really need to help others because it helps me gain a greater appreciation for all of God's children and also more love towards Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ.
