Hi I'm Bryton Davis

I'm preparing to be a missionary of the LDS church. I'm currently a college student.

About Me

I'm currently going to college and I am studying Biomedical Engineering and planning on becoming an Orthopedic Surgeon. I am currently preparing to serve a full time mission. I enjoy playing sports, mostly baseball, basketball and football and I love being outdoors.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a member of this church because I enjoy the spirit and joy this gospel brings. I feel connected with the community being a Mormon brings. I received my own personal testimony after I read the Book of Mormon through completely. About a quarter of the way through the Book of Mormon I started getting into a habit to where I would read the verses and write down any notes that I found interesting or wanted to ponder further in a journal I kept. One of the nights that I was reading, I felt the Spirit come upon me very strongly and I just felt at peace and was filled with joy. It wasn’t like the usual happy I’d felt many times before, it was a calming peace that left me feeling loved and without stress. At that point I knew the church must be true because of the Spirit that reading the Book of Mormon left with me that night. That Spirit also solidified my desire to serve a mission, and to be able to become close to the Lord and feel that same peace more often.

How I live my faith

I am currently planning on serving a full time mission. I have been in the presidency of the youth between the ages of 14-17.
