Hi I'm Sister Campbell

I am a Mormon. And I love it!

About Me

I am currently serving a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and I love it! It's the best job in the world! I volunteered to leave my family, my schooling, and my friends, and give up eighteen months of my time to go where the Lord sent me to preach His gospel. Before the mission you would find me watching movies, playing guitar, singing, studying for classes, working or just spending quality time with friends and family. On my mission my life is completely devoted to God! I'm out all day every day finding people that are searching for truth and teaching them about the restored gospel of Jesus Christ. I love meeting new people, sharing my testimony, and experiencing a whole new culture! On my mission I have also developed a love for green smoothies, comfortable shoes and bike riding. It has been a crazy whirl-wind of emotions and adventures, but it has been SO worth it! I love the gospel of Jesus Christ and there is nowhere I'd rather be than here sharing that message with those around me!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know the gospel of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is true! There are always going to be things that I just don't understand, but there are some things that I do know deep in my heart, and that I can't deny. I know that God is our Heavenly Father and He loves each of us personally. He loves ME. I see that love manifest in so many ways in my life--from the smallest blessing to the greatest miracle. I know that because He loves me so much, He sent His perfect Son, Jesus Christ to live, and to die for me. I know that without the atonement of Jesus Christ I would be nothing. I am so grateful that my Savior loved me enough to make that sacrifice for me. So that I can be happy, so that I can be clean, and so I can return to live with my Heavenly Father someday. I know that Heavenly Father has a perfect plan for each of us. Everything happens for a reason. As hard as it is to trust that and just move forward with faith, I know that if we do we will be so much more happy and blessed than we could imagine. I know that because of this great and perfect plan I can be with my family forever. Which is such a blessing for me. I love my family more than life itself and I am so grateful that those relationships don't have to end with death. I know that we have a living prophet, Thomas S. Monson, that teaches us what our Heavenly Father would have us do to make us happy. I know that the Book of Mormon is the word of God. I have received so many answers and so much peace from reading its pages. I couldn't live without it! I am a Mormon because it makes me happy. It makes me happy knowing who I am and who I can become and I can't imagine my life any other way!

How I live my faith

I try and live my faith each and every day by doing what the Savior would do. I am far from perfect, but I try and put forth my best effort to be a person and missionary that my Heavenly Father would be proud of. I have seen that it's the simple, everyday things that make the biggest difference--in my life and in the lives of those around me. Reading the scriptures, praying, serving others, sharing my testimony and striving to develop Christlike attributes are some ways that I live my faith every day.
