Hi I'm Tesera

I'm a wife, mother, daughter,sister,and friend. I live in London, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a stay at home mom who absolutely adores her job. Together with my husband we try to bring balance, opportunity, and fun to our home. My three daughters keep me very busy, but I cherish the moments we share together; whether it be cooking together in the kitchen, singing while we tidy the house, shuttling them from violin, dance, school, and various other activities, time spent together is special. I find that my husband and I are both happiest when we are sharing time and memories with our children.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the church and so my testimony of the restored gospel came when I was quite young. I am a Mormon because I have earnestly studied and prayed and found answers to my questions about why we are here, where we came from, and where we are going. Because of my sincere desire to know the answers to these and other questions regarding my spirituality, and through quiet confirmation by the Holy Ghost I am able to know the truthfulness of the Gospel, and feel peace and happiness in my life. Being a Mormon brings my family and I joy, a joy that is founded in a firm testimony of truth.

How I live my faith

I try to live my faith everyday by being an example and follower of Jesus Christ. It is important to me to find opportunities to show kindness and love towards other people and to share those opportunities with my children. As we help those around us we feel the powerful joy that comes through service.I attend church meetings weekly as well as serve in a calling that requires time outside of normal Sunday meetings. My husband and I are grateful for these church callings and the ability they give us to serve our Heavenly Father and help in His work.

What are some things that tell you there is a God?

Everything around me speaks clearly to my soul that we are children of a loving God whose glory far surpasses our own. I see it in the miracle of life, in the beauty of the Earth, in the charity of others, and the ability for us to think, create, and love one another. I can feel God's presence each and everyday as I stop to marvel and the wonder of his works. We are not here by chance, or without purpose we are here as children of God. Show more Show less
