Hi I'm Jessica

I grew up in the church. I'm a student, studying to become a teacher. I love the color yellow. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm the oldest of five and love my family with my whole heart! I love quilting, watching movies, playing games, and spending time with my family and friends. I'm a student at BYU-Idaho studying Early Childhood/Special Education. I have chosen to serve as missionary for the Church and have been assigned to serve in the Argentina Salta Mission.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints because I know it to be true. Growing up in the Church, it has always been a part of my life and central to who I am, but it's so much more than that. I know with my whole heart that the Church is true. I know that Joseph Smith truly did see God, the Father, and His Son, Jesus Christ--that he was called of God to restore the Church to the earth. I know that the Book of Mormon is a true and correct book and that it truly does testify and teach of Christ. I know that Christ suffered and died for my sake, as well as for the world, and that He lives today! I know that I am a beloved daughter of a Heavenly Father who loves me and knows me. I know that we have prophets and apostles on the earth today that have been called of God to lead and guide His Church. Why am I a Mormon? Because I know it and I am truly happy because of it. The Gospel of Jesus Christ bring so much joy into my life and it is a remarkable blessing to be a member of this Church!

How I live my faith

I live my faith daily as I defend truth, stand as a witness of Christ, keep the commandments, and stay true to the things that I have been taught. I have a deep and sincere desire to serve and follow Christ and strive everyday to become more like Him. I love being a member of the Church and for the blessing that it is in my life. I'm so thankful for the happiness that the gospel brings and I know I wouldn't be who I am today with out it!
