Hi I'm Mason

My name is Mason Proctor. I am a student at BYU and teach Japanese at the MTC. I love sports and I'm a Mormon

About Me

I am a member of the LDS church. I love Jesus Christ.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, because it teaches the full and true Gospel of Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ is our Savior. We are all able to become cleansed from sin and become more like Him, because He provided the Atonement. Christ came to earth to do the will of the Father. I have learned more about my relationship between me and my Heavenly Father, because of the doctrine and principles taught in the Church. Through prayer and reading the scriptures, I have felt comfort through the Holy Ghost, that Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ love me more than I could ever imagine, and that I am doing what is right. I love my family so much, I can't describe it. I want to live with them forever, and through the Gospel I know I can. Jesus Christ is the head of the Church. He has given us prophets to lead us just like His Church has always had. I know without a doubt that this is Christ's true Church. I will never deny it. I love my Savior. I love my Heavenly Father. This is why I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I do my best to represent Jesus Christ and His church. I do this by trying to follow Christ's example and follow His commandments. I try my best to serve everyone. I go to church every week, I pray to Heavenly Father, I read the scriptures everyday, and I try to apply them to my life.

Are Mormons Christians?

Mormons are Christians. Mormon is a nickname given to us. Our Church's name is the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Jesus Christ is the center of our faith. His atoning sacrifice makes it possible for each and every one of us to become eternally happy and live with Heavenly Father again. Show more Show less
