Hi I'm Chandice Marie

I love to sing. Someday I want to go to the United Kingdom. I want to be a family therapist. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born in the beautiful state of Washington. I love the mountains and anything green. I like both big band and country swing dancing. I enjoy old fashioned television shows and movies. I wish I could travel back in time to visit the jazz era. I am a goof ball. I laugh too much. I have red hair and am proud of it!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I honestly don't think I could make it through each day without the Gospel. Having the knowledge that I have a Heavenly Father is such a glorious comfort. Every day seems to be a battle, but I know that I am loved. I know where I came from, I know who I am (a daughter of a heavenly being), and I know where I'm going (to inherit the kingdom of my Father in Heaven). The peace I feel when I get on my knees to pray can't be replicated. I receive guidance that directs my life. Personal revelation is like reading the scriptures except the message is special just for you. I know that of myself I am nothing. But with God I can do all things. There is true joy in living the Gospel that can't be found anywhere else. And that's why I'm a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I help make sure the ladies in the church are visiting and talking with one another. The official calling is called "Visiting teaching supervisor." I try and make sure everyone feels included. I am currently preparing to serve a full time mission for the church, where I hope to help and serve as many people as I can.

What is being a Mormon like?

Chandice Marie
Being Mormon is like having the protection of a bomb shelter during an enemy attack. You are protected with spiritual security. The Holy Ghost is your constant companion and guides you through life. You are also secure because of knowledge. We know that families can be together forever, and we live accordingly. Living a higher standard, treating others with love and respect, and trying to be more like Christ are all ways of being a Mormon. Show more Show less
