Hi I'm Jack

I grew up in Spanish Fork, Utah. I've been active in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints all my life.

About Me

I grew up with only one sibling. I was active in the Church and in scouting. I became an eagle scout. When I graduated from high school, I went on National Guard active training for 6 months. When I returned home I was called on a mission to the North British Mission. When I returned home, I was married 3 months later. We have six children, 19 grand children, and 4 great grand children.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been blessed by my ancester who came across the plains. They joined the church back east and followed Brigham Young to Utah. I feel I have been very fortunate to have been brought up with the gospel of Jesus Christ in my life. Because I know of the joy the gospel has given me, I want to share it with all the people I can. I know that Joseph Smith received a vision of Heavenly Father and His Son Jesus Christ. I know that he restored the Priesthood back to the earth that had been lost since the original apostles died. I know that we have a living prophet upon the earth today. Pres. Thomas Monson. I know that Heavenly Father wants to have all his children to come back and be worthy of living with Him. Our Savior has shown us the way, now I want to share this with all those I can.

How I live my faith

Over the years I have been active in our community and ward. We live in a small town of about 500. I was the justice of the peace for 10 years. I have held many positions in our ward. I have been in two bishoprics, worked with the youth, scouting, teaching, and at present I am the leader of about 60 senior priesthood members.
