Hi I'm Stacy

I like sing my way through life and laugh every second possible. I am a wife. I am a mother. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am in love with music. I love to sing my way through life and often wish I had the magical background music to accompany me. I play the piano and have taught the world's best students for the past 3 years. I love to create, decorate, and photograph the things I love. I live in a happy place and strive to create an uplifting environment for my family. I am married to an incredible man who loves me more than I could have ever hoped for! He is an incredible husband and father. We met at BYU and are just finishing up his Ph.D. journey and moving on. We have two adorable children, a 2 year old daughter and a 1 year old son. They are the light of our lives and are grateful for their sweet personalities and their love for us.

Why I am a Mormon

I haven't always had as strong as of a conviction as I'd like, but it is through those weak moments that I get back up and start over. The process of finding out the truth is a hard road, but worth every effort. I am a Mormon because it brings me happiness. Because it makes sense. Because I know that it's true. I love to reaffirm my faith through saying my prayers as if I'm talking to my very best friend or mom on the phone. Praying is not something I have to do, it is something that I choose to do. It is a friendship that has to be cared for. Reading my scriptures, although hard to accomplish every day, brings more spiritual confirmation to my life and through it's words I realize again why I am a Mormon. Because it's true.

How I live my faith

Most recently, I have been involved in teaching our children the gospel. I get to teach a lesson and share my testimony of the gospel on a regular basis and it has been an amazing experience. I have learned so many things from these beautiful children. We have family night every Monday to teach the gospel to our children and involve them in very needed family time. I find that the greatest participation in the gospel is found through service. I like to help those in need and to provide a little relief to someone each day, even if it is just giving a stressed-out mommy a break for a couple of hours!
