Hi I'm Karlynne

I love the Lord and doing His work. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I belong to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I've gone through 3 years of community college to receive an associates degree in general education and will continue my schooling to receive a degree in exercise science. With my spare time, I enjoy spending it with the people I love doing the activities I love. My most prized achievement is being able to smile each day, no matter the trial the days bring me.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I love it. I find great comfort in being obedient to Heavenly Father and His counsel for me. Ultimately, I want to return home to Him and live in His presence. The best way to accomplish that goal is partake in His word and be the best I know how to be.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by being a full time missionary. Missionaries are scattered around the world in pairs and share the gospel with those they come in contact with. As I serve my mission, my hope is to be an example of the light of Christ. I want to share my testimony of Christ and His atoning sacrifice with the effect of bringing those who listen, to Christ as well.

What do Mormons believe concerning the doctrine of grace?

I believe grace to be the purest love of Christ. Synonym's for the word grace are; benevolence, charity, compassion, kindness, and mercy. Through the power of grace, every soul is reconciled to God and reclaimed from sin. Based from the principle of "obedience", it is expected that we do our best and God will therefore make up the difference. This point can easily be argued because people with various mistakes and misdeeds in their past still receive the benefits of Gods grace, whether they were trying to be submissive to His counsel or not. Our efforts are simply the evidences that we desire to please Him. Because, no matter our action, we are His children and we will be purified through the gift of His atoning sacrifice. Why don’t Mormons drink coffee, tea, or alcohol? What is the Mormon Church’s law of health and proper diet?

For me, the Word of Wisdom is not a chore or a pain to follow. I desire to have a healthy body without contamination through all the days of my life. I made a personal choice to not intake any substance that is harmful to my body. The church has provided such counsel through using "The Word of Wisdom", giving specific examples which are listed above. I follow it because peek performance is necessary when success is on the line! Plus, simple obedience is the key to receiving blessings from God which he very much desires to reward us with.
