Hi I'm Bren

Hi, I'm a 22 year old happy future missionary and a proud member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

About Me

Well, I'm a Mormon, I know it, I live it, I LOVE IT. I'm going to be a full-time missionary for one an a half year in Panama. I love playing piano and sharing the gospel with my spiritual brothers and sisters who are ready to hear what our Heavenly Father want them to know for improving their lives and reach to come and live with Him and Our Heaveanly Father. Before preparing to serve on a full-time mission I studied at a Theatre University in Cuernavaca, Mexico. I love arts in general ( plastic arts, music, dance, etc...) so that's the reason I picked Theatre, I think it has all the arts within. My goal is to be sealed on the temple with those I love and have an eternal family ( and of course not ending to be a missionary because being a missionary is a life style, and more when there are children to teach and love )

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon since I'm nine, but I'd been inactive for some years and had been member of other religion beliefs. When I decided to come back to the Church was because I felt the call of the Holy Spirit inside me, I felt inside me I that I must went to Church for an special mission(which I didn't knew what it was until now),when this happened I was not an active member and I didn't had any contact with the Church, but this feeling and this call from the Spirit was so strong that I knew I must went to Church. The call of the Spirit was there for a hole week,on Friday of that week while I was walking home from school I met in the street one of my old friends from Church, she was so happy to see me and so do I,we had a long talk about our lives and them by the end of this talk she smiled at me and told me:"Well, See you at Church on Sunday!",I must admit I was surprised when she told me that so I just look at her and smiled and told her I would be there for sure. When we said good bye, while we were walking away from each other she screamed "I'll be waiting for you,I'll be glad to see you again" and something inside me,like a little and sweet voice told me that I must remember why I'm here and remember how much my Heveanly Father loves me and wants me to be happy and to notice that He'd prepared a big family for me in Church and that I was not alone. Then Sunday came and I was surprised to be up at 6:30a.m with a big feeling of enthusiasm and joy in my heart,I was really feeling good.I did my morning prayer,I took my old scriptures and made my way to Church. When I arrived I felt like I was coming home after a long, exhausting and hard trip.I was really glad to see again all that people I love and I was happy to see they knew who I was.But absolutely the most important thing was that God actually knew who I was and I felt his love deep inside my heart.I'm a Mormon because I certainly know everything in the Gospel is Truth and Holy.In the name of Jesus-Christ Amen

How I live my faith

What I often do in my community is visiting my neighbours and share with them an scripture or sing an hymn to them. I serve as a ward missionary so I work with the missionaries, the misional leader and two other ward-missionaries teaching ,with inspiration and love, to our spiritual brothers and sisters the eternal and perfect love our Saviour has for us. Me and my ward-missionary partners share our testimony almost everyday and each day we give our best to live at the level of the message we teach (not easy because all of us have weaknesses, but by praying we ask The Lord to help us to conquer them and we support us between us). By doing this my faith and tesimony increases and gets stronger because I get to see how the life of those who we teach and love improves and also how the Love of our Father ,the faith in His son Jesus Christ and the influence of the Holy Spirit touches people hearts and makes them happier.
