Hi I'm Justin Des Yarrington

I have been a member all of my life and I have grown up with it here in Idaho Falls. I love the gospel with all my soul!

About Me

Some of my most favorite activities to engage in include playing the piano and violin. Music inside my family has been of extreme importance because we have all grown up with it. My father grew up by playing the piano and violin; now, I have followed in his footsteps and enjoy it thoroughly. I also have participated in my high school's speech and debate program. This has proven to be a very exciting and enjoyable time because I have been able to make lifelong friends and learn lifelong skills that will be necessary for my success inside this world. This summer I will be serving a full time mission. I am so excited and blessed for the opportunity to serve the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. After my mission, I plan to attend college and get married inside the temple for time and all eternity. I look forward to these things, and I look forward to beginning my future.

Why I am a Mormon

I absolutely, unconditionally love this gospel. It is by far the greatest thing I can dedicate my time to. I know without any doubt in my mind that it is all true. Literally everything about this gospel is true. I believe that Joseph Smith did restore the gospel and see Jesus Christ and Heavenly Father in Palmyra, New York inside the Sacred Grove. it is because of the faith of Joseph that we enjoy the blessings of the gospel today. Through him and many other modern day prophets, we have received revelation concerning the fullness of the gospel. I am so blessed to be a member of this church and to live in the dispensation of the fullness of times. I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints because I love it and have an undeniable testimony that it is true. I also believe that Christ knows and loves each and every one of us. It is so amazing to me to think that He suffered and paid the ultimate sacrificed so that every individual can return to live to Heavenly Father. Truly, He loved us all so much and so unconditionally that it is beyond our mental comprehension. His love for us, and the Father's love for us is so perfect that we cannot understand it. They will do everything in their power to help us return to Heavenly Father, as long as it doesn't take away our agency. Heavenly Father lays waiting for us to make the right choices so that He can bless us. He wants to bless us with everything he has. All we need to do is ask for it, then will we receive it. Again I love this gospel so much, and I am so grateful for the opportunity to be a member of it, and I hope that all of God's children will try their best to return to him so that they can experience the same joy of living and obeying the principles and doctrines of the gospel.

How I live my faith

I do my best to live the gospel in my everyday life. I have taken Seminary all four years of my high school and have loved every minute of it. I also have taken and am taking multiple missionary prep classes, along with a Doctrines of the Gospel Institute class, and truly the learning never stops. I love interacting with other members of the church and having gospel related discussions. It is always enjoyable to hear other's testimonies of the gospel, because their testimonies can help strengthen our own. I love to read my scriptures and listen to music performed by the Mormon Tabernacle Choir. Listening to Conference talks and rereading conference talks are all favorite activities that I enjoy engaging in. I also love to spend time with members of my quorum, especially when we go on camping trips. In my past I have served as Deacon's Quorum President, Teacher's Quorum President and Priest Quorum 1st Assistant. Each opportunity has brought many learning experience and have often tested my knowledge and testimony of the gospel. Serving on each position has brought a new strength to my testimony as a member of the church, and as a priesthood holder. Working with youth my same age has brought strength and friendship inside of today's trialing world. I always like to look for experiences that will strengthen my testimony, and help in allowing my love for the gospel to grow. I love this gospel, and I know it is true.
