Hi I'm Cambria

I grew up in the United States. I'm adopted. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love ARTS! Culinary, dance, movies, music, photography, (etc.) bring flavor to life. I've completed a year and a half of college at my local community college, and my focus is social work. I love helping people improve their lives, in all aspects.

Why I am a Mormon

When I was about 13 years old, I began to wonder about my beliefs. I was raised in the faith of my parents, which is wonderful; but I wasn't sure if I knew for myself. I was fascinated by the invitation in the Book of Mormon to read it for myself, ponder it out in my mind, and then ask God whether or not it is true. "And if ye ask with a sincere heart, with real intent, having faith in Christ...He shall manifest the truth of it unto by the power of the Holy Ghost." That invitation is so bold, I decided to test it out. I wanted an angel to appear to me or to hear a voice or something of that nature. I didn't get my answer right away with an angleic visitation, but as i continually prayed and fasted and read the scriptures, searching out my answer and waiting upon the Lord, He has gave me a firm witness that these things ARE true. I know that the Book of Mormon is the word of God, that Jesus Christ's church has been restored to the earth, and that our heavenly Father loves us and answers our prayers. He wants us to know he is there, and He will give us opprotunities in our life to come nearer to Him. my testimony is that he DOES answer. And, He answers in a way that we can understand. I know this to be true.

How I live my faith

I participate in my community through service opprotunities, such as volunteering at after-school centers for youth. I also enjoy the many opprotunities to serve at church - through teaching classes, planning activities, and regular service projects. Each experience in serving in the church has taught me something new, and brought me closer to Christ and to others around me. Currently, I am serving as a full-time missionary! Serving is one of my greatest passions and joys, and it brings great happiness and peace in my life.
