Hi I'm Landon Hadley

I am 22 and currently serving as a missionary in Del Mar,California! I am learning Farsi and loving my experiences here!

About Me

I love playing sports and being active. I played high school volleyball and soccer. My new outdoor passion is long-boarding. Currently I am not going to college because I am about to leave on my mission; previously though I was going to college and enjoying the blessing of being able to get an education. My friends and family are the world to me. There are many worldly objects that are important to people these days but people are what I love and focus on most. I am a music kind of person. I love it. I can listen to music 24/7. Finding new music is always an adventure. THERE IS SO MUCH MUSIC OUT THERE.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because of a few simple reasons. It doesn't need to be complicated. It isn't complicated. Through the gospel I am better able to establish a relationship with my Heavenly Father. With that relationship comes a great amount of love and self-value that you can feel from him. The gospel blesses my life through the values and standards it teaches. Not only giving me a better future but a more fulfilling one, a future where I can focus on my loved ones and care for them in the best possible way. I am a Mormon because Jesus Christ lives and his teachings are true. He loves me and I love him. After understanding and feeling that love it gives anyone and everyone enough motivation to follow Christ. I felt that love. I cannot deny that this gospel is true. My soul knows it. My heart knows it. My mind knows it.

How I live my faith

I am in a young singles adult ward. I love it. I am able to meet so many new people who are my age and share the same passion for my religion that I feel. I like being in my ward because also there is so much diversity and many people are from all over and attending the universities nearby. It makes the ward more exciting because I am able to hear stories from others who are from far away about their life and how the gospel of Jesus Christ has helped them. This really helps build my testimony. My calling in the ward is quite a simple one, I clean up trash left in the main meeting room and help put away the folding chairs after church has ended.
