Hi I'm Tanner Peers

I grew up in Park City Utah, and I've been a Mormon my whole life.

About Me

I am from Park City Utah, and I love to be outdoors. Some of my hobbies are fly fishing, skiing, shooting, and drawing. I love to hang with my friends and I have made a lot of new ones hanging out at my first year in college.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I have studied and prayed about the Book of Mormon, and I have come to find out for myself that it is true- through this evidence. The Holy Ghost has testified to me that the gospel of Jesus Christ has been restored to the earth again through the Prophet Joseph Smith. Although I have been a Mormon my whole life, I have come to find out that it takes much study and prayer to gain a personal testimony. Its not always easy, but as we stay in tune with our Heavenly Father, He will manifest the truthfulness to us. Our personal testimonies are like our own iron rod- our very own precious, personal possession that we need to hold onto in difficult, dark, and confusing times. I know that our Heavenly Father hears and answers our prayers and He will never leave us. I know that Jesus Christ lives- I have felt the power of His atonement in my life and its is something I will be eternally grateful for. He is my best friend. I often feel as the prophet Moses did- I am not very confident in speaking, but my heart is full and bursting with love and testimony of these things! I am a Mormon because I have felt the spirit of God testify to me that this is HIS church!!

How I live my faith

I am currently serving a mission in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania, and I am loving serving the Lord each and every day out here!! I have done a lot of growing and learning as I have invited others to come unto the Lord Jesus Christ.

What is being a Mormon like?
