Hi I'm Victoria

I'm one that loves to spend time with family and friends. I love to laugh and make others laugh. I'm a Latter-day Saint.

About Me

I'm someone that is very quiet and reserved at first, but once I come out of my shell I'm a whole new, lively person. I grew up with a tight knitted family. We love spending time together, and we know how to enjoy life. I've attended a year and a half of college and have put my schooling on hold so I can serve others through a mission. I like to try new things and to overcome my fears. Some of the things I've enjoyed trying were river rafting, rock climbing, and lazer tag. I sometimes struggle talking to others, I have a hard time reading, I express my self through art, and I love to organize. I love the outdoors when it's nice weather. I am a person that has a lot of blonde moments! Luckily I know how to laugh and roll with the punches. I enjoy clean humor and making others laugh. I'm a bit of a prankster and love pulling jokes on my family. I grew up with the gospel of Jesus Christ and I was blessed with parents that have loved and encouraged me to find out, for myself, what I believe. I've recently lost a couple people in my life. Through those experiences it has helped me to grow and overcome some of my many weaknesses. I love when I can overcome my faults and trials through Christ.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Latter-day Saint or a 'Mormon' because I know this gosple is true. I've come to know this for myself by praying to my Father in Heaven, studying the scriptures, and pondering what I've been taught in church. It has been a process, yet throughout the whole process I have had the Holy Ghost bear testimony to me that what I've been taught or what I read in the scriptures is the truth. I recognize that it's the Holy Ghost because I get these feelings that are as real as someone touching a stove that's on and knowing it's hot. It's the same way. When I recieve those feelings from the Holy Ghost I know for a fact that this gospel is true. Our Father in Heaven loves us so much that he restored this light and knowledge to us through heavenly messangers and the prophet Joseph Smith. I'm a Mormon because I've seen what this gospel has done for me in my life and others around me. I feel the comfort and relief it has brought by knowing and understanding the gosple doctrines and principles. I know that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is the true and living gosple of our savior Jesus Christ. I know that it blesses and changes lives. I've grown up in this church and as such I have taken a lot of this knowlege for granted. However, as I have gotten older and have come to know my Father in Heaven and His son Jesus Christ through prayer and study, I have been able to gain my own testimony and appreciation for the knowledge that I have. This gosple is TRUE! I could say that a million times and more because I know it and love it.

How I live my faith

There are several ways that I live my faith. One way has been serving others through various ways with youth groups in my ward. Another has been attending LDS classes such semenary and institute so I can gain further knowledge and understanding. Supporting others in they're callings is another way for me to live my faith. And also just taking life a day at a time. The way that I'm looking forward to living my faith is by serving a Mission for the Church and sharing this gospel with others.
