Hi I'm Keeyan

I grew up in Hawaii. I am going to be serving a full-time mission in Brisbane, Australia soon. I'm a mormon.

About Me

Aloha! I am the second oldest of six kids and all our names start with "K". I've just completed two years of college majoring in Exercise Sports Science, but am about to embark on a full-time mission to Australia. Some of my hobbies are sports, drawing, and being with family. I had played football in high school, but didn't have the adequate size to play in college at my position. I love to do anything that can get me active, and fun whether playing basketball, or going to the gym and lifting weights.

Why I am a Mormon

Why I am a Mormon, is because of my beloved mother. My mother is such a great example to me, that she helps us, her kids, to try and be faithful as much as possible and lose ourselves in service to the Lord. I know that the Church of Jesus Christ is true, I feel it in my heart, and as I pray daily, read scriptures, and give service to others, I know in my heart that this is the right place to be. My Savior Jesus Christ has blessed me in so many ways to keep me on the right path and helps me to want to strive to be as good as he was.

How I live my faith

How I live my faith is by going to church every Sunday, magnifying my church callings and responsibilities, and honoring my priesthood duties. Throughout my teen years in church, I have been in some kind of leadership role. From deacons quorum president, teachers quorum president, or a youth representative for our Honolulu Hawaii Stake for a Tri-Stake Youth Conference where three stakes of our church met together to have activities to help spiritually uplift one another for a weekend. As of today, I am currently serving as a counselor in the elders quorum presidency.
