Hi I'm Wayne

I am a Mormon and an active in the Church. I live in Idaho and love my family and life.

About Me

I am retired. I worked as a the project manager in the nuclear research area at the Idaho National Laboratory. I love the outdoors and have made my home in Idaho. I am married with 4 children and 10 grandchildren. I love working with the Boy Scouts of America and am a great supporter of this program.

Why I am a Mormon

I am an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and have a testimony that this Church is lead by a prophet of God. I know that we are all children of a loving Father in Heaven and that His Son, Jesus Christ, came to this earth to take upon himself the sins of the world so we could again return to our Father in Heaven. His atoning sacrifice was for us because He loved us and His Father in Heaven. I believe in the power of prayer. I believe that our Father in Heaven still works though living prophets. I believe that the Book of Mormon is another testament of Jesus Christ just like the Holy Bible.

How I live my faith

I am very active in my church working mostly with the youth through teaching responsibilities and organizing youth activities. I have taught adult church classes as well. In the community, area and nationally I have helped organize youth soccer teams as a coach, referee, and instructor. I have helped the unit and area Boy Scouts as a Scoutmaster, Venturing Advisor, National Youth Leader Trainer, District leader, and local Council Executive Board member.

Can a husband and wife be together forever? Do Mormons believe that families will live together in heaven?

Family relationships can last forever—not just for this life. Family members who accept the Atonement of Jesus Christ and follow His example can be together forever through sacred ordinances performed in God’s holy temples. These ordinances seal a husband and wife together for all eternity and children to their parents as an eternal family. (See: “The Family: A Proclamation to the World”) Show more Show less
