Hi I'm Brandon Walker

I love basketball, eating, music, and my family. I am loving being a missionary in Alabama. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I try to be myself all the time. I love to have fun sometimes it's good to be serious. I would say I am pretty "chill" and relaxed. I love learning. I also love observing people. I love being active! Hiking, swimming, sports, boating, you name it! I can't promise I am good at all of those, but I do enjoy them :) I am all about family. I would do anything for my family. I am the baby of 6 kids who grew up as best friends. I have three sisters in a row right above me, so I pretend I can understand women but not really...but I do hold a high amount of respect for them though! I have a loving mother and father who provide for our family and teach us how to live the gospel of Jesus Christ. I love music. In high school, I was a part of a barbershop quintet. We had opportunities to sing all over the state and we even got a chance to go down and sing in Disneyland, California Adventures, and Medieval Times. I believe music can have a great influence on people's lives. I also play the ukulele and a tiny bit of piano. I love life and I try to enjoy every moment that comes my way. I love the sound of laughter. It always makes me laugh. Nothing can beat a solid laugh until you cry moment. I love surprising and scaring people. I hope someday to anonymously pull of the greatest prank ever known to man. *SilentFisher *SneakySnake

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I love having a purpose in life. I love being a part of the gospel and all the blessings that come with being obedient and following Jesus Christ. The Book of Mormon has all the answers to my problems, wants, needs, and any questions I have ever had. I know the Book of Mormon is true. I have read it and I have prayed to know of its truthfulness. You can too. God will answer. I love being a Mormon because it helps me set personal standards of worthiness. My desire and ability to maintain high standards has blessed me physically, emotionally, and spiritually. I would not trade the Gospel for anything in the world. No amount of money could buy me the happiness I find through living the Gospel of Jesus Christ. It is a way to pattern your life to find ultimate and eternal happiness, a happiness that will last forever. I know Jesus Christ lives. I know we are ALL children of a loving and caring Heavenly Father. He wants us to return home to live with him again. I know the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints can bring happiness and peace into anyone's life if you are willing to let it. It does not matter who you are, what you look like, what you have done or still do; Jesus Christ invites ALL to come unto him. Everyone and anyone can be forgiven of mistakes made. I know these things to be true and will always hold them close to my heart. My testimony is a light to me in a world that is increasing in darkness. Christ's light will never fail you.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by doing my best to serve and love people. As a Mormon I have so many opportunities to do this through our church organization. I love being actively involved in my church. It helps me stay close to my morals and standards that I hold close to my heart. It is a constant reminder to me of my goal of becoming like our Savior, Jesus Christ, by developing attributes similar to his. There is nothing like the feeling of making someone's day. Being involved with others of my faith is a great way to check up on each other. By attending church each week, I am able to talk and interact with others of my same religion who can help remind me to be faithful. I am also able to partake of the Sacrament which allows me to renew covenants I made when I was baptized and allows me to be forgiven for the mistakes I have made that week. It is a reminder to me to remember who I am and why I am here. To remember my Savior Jesus Christ and all He has done for me. Right now I am volunteering two years of my life to spread the good news of the Gospel of Jesus Christ to other people. I love being a missionary for my church and dedicating this time to serve my God. I love all the opportunities we receive to serve. Although it's hard to constantly talk to strangers about what I believe, I know that the best way to strengthen my testimony is to share it. I have the knowledge of the restored gospel. It is my duty to be unselfish and share it. I could be someone's only chance to hear it.

Are Mormons Christians?

Brandon Walker
Everything we do is centered on Jesus Christ. Our church is named after Him, our books we study teach all about Him, we mention Him in prayers, songs, and discussions in all of our meetings. He is the way, the truth and the light. He is our savior and redeemer. In no other church have I learned more about Jesus Christ and felt His love stronger than in this church, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. He is our everything. Show more Show less
