Hi I'm Cuauhti Olguin

I'm the oldest of 7 children the 7th was born 14 days before my MTC report date. I love Music, sports, and much more. I'm a mormon

About Me

My name is Cuauhti. I was born in Provo Utah while my parents were going to school at BYU and Raised in Calgary Alberta. I am currently serving a Fulltime mission for The Church of Jesus Christ Of Latter-Day Saints in the Canada Winnipeg Mission, and words can't describe how much I love being here! Home to me is anywhere I can make someone smile/laugh and lighten someone's load so you can find me at home anywhere. As a missionary teaching is CENTRAL to everything I do! And I love it, I was a swim teacher back in Calgary, but now I teach people about the restored Gospel and how it has changed my life. I Love Mission life, I have come to such a better appreciation of the sacrifices made for me, and for the love that is in my life. My mother is everything to me. I never realized how much of a momma's boy I was till I got out here and it just hit me, all that she's been through because of me, and all that I took for granted. I took a lot for granted before serving a mission. It's been quite the awakening as I really come to recognize what's important in life and who I really am. My family is everything to me, I love my 6 little siblings and it's hard to imagine them 2 years older than I left them, but I'm so Proud of them and I hope they know that I'm doing the best I can and that I love them so much that I want others to know that they too can be with their families forever. There's few things in this world that I don't love, I just love life and Love being happy.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the church, but I fell away for a time. As I grew older I began to fill with anger and hate, in my anger I drifted away from the church, I fell into sin and I hated living. One night, I ended up passed out on the side of a road, I was ready to die that night. Miraculously my mother who had been searching for me, found me at around early one morning. I will never forget the feeling of being found. That night was the most painful night of my life. physically, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually. When I woke up in my room, I dropped to my knees and I prayed for the 1st time in years. I begged for forgiveness. I don't know how long I prayed. But i will never forget the feeling of being forgiven by my heavenly father. Immediately I felt the burdens of sin, anger and hate lift off my shoulders. My life was turned around that day. All of my sins were no match for the Saviour's incomprehensible mercy and love. As I've grown and learned more about who I am and Why I'm here, I've come to recognize the love in my life especially from my mother. Like my mother's immense love for me, I'll never fully comprehend God's Love for me in this life. Knowing how far I fell gives me great hope for all those that I have yet to meet. For I know that the arms of Jesus Christ are open to all. As they were open to me. I know that this Church is true and that Jesus Christ lives. I am a Mormon because Jesus Christ Lives and I have a testimony that this is his church.

How I live my faith

I am currently serving a 2 year mission as a representative of Jesus Christ, inviting others to come unto Christ. Every morning I leave the apartment wearing a white shirt and tie, My name tag and my companion. together we love and Serve everyone we meet and teach them more about this church and the Happiness and Peace it has brought to our lives. As a missionary I am obedient to God's commandments, not only am I preaching his gospel to all that will listen, but I live my life in a way that I can set an example and be worthy of this sacred calling. I abstain from sin, and I strive my best to be patient and love as Christ would. I love this church and I love teaching the gospel to God's Children. "Because I have been given much, I too must give." Each day I study the scriptures, pray, and strive to do better. Despite the hard times, and the trials, I will endure to the end in faith and living my life as God has lovingly commanded me to do so.
