Hi I'm Rachel Raye Smallcanyon

I was born in Saint George, Utah. Moved to La Verkin, 5 Years later, and back to Saint George. Only 15 minutes apart.

About Me

I was raised in the gospel by my parents who were converts to the church. I have one older brother, his name is Jarom, and he is the most amazing brother that I could ever have. I wasn't always a full active church member. There came a point in my life where I knew I was missing something and that was The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I am a strong believer. My testimony grows each day. Serving a mission was never in my plans but Heavenly Father called me to the work. I received my mission call on April 12, 2013, to Oklahoma City Oklahoma Mission but I didn't leave till May 28 of 2014. Everything was done in the Lords time. I believe that this is the restored gospel of Jesus Christ. He is my savior and redeemer. I am a Mormon.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because when I live the Gospel principles I know that I am doing the right thing. I act in faith and faith is really important to have on earth. It shows full trust in Heavenly Father.

How I live my faith

Believing and trusting in Heavenly Father that he will always answer my prayers no matter what. He tests my faith everyday, and my faith in him increases even more. Without faith, we hope for nothing. Faith is hope for things not seen. Faith + Hope = Charity (The pure love of Christ).

Who was Joseph Smith?

Rachel Raye Smallcanyon
I do believe that Joseph Smith Jr is a true Prophet of God who restored the gospel and received revelation. The Spirit of God bared witness to me. Seeing new converts come into the church is a miracle to me. I was brought up in a Christian home, which makes me a firm believer in the teachings of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I was born under the covenant which makes us an eternal family and I am grateful for that. Show more Show less
