Hi I'm Joshua Hatch

I grew up in West Palm Beach, FL. I'm the oldest of 6 kids, and I love recreational sports and activities. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Currently I’m a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I love outdoor and recreational activities like mountain biking, swimming, water skiing and basically anything else that gets your blood pumping. I've grown up in Florida so I've always grown up around biking and swimming and water skiing and wake boarding, but I also love the winter sports. I love playing with animals and having fun with my friends. Sports and outdoor activities are a lot of fun but they're nowhere near as fun as they are with friends. I love coming up with fun and creative things to do with friends, and now as a missionary I love finding creative ways to bring people closer to Christ.

Why I am a Mormon

One of the reasons I love The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is because it gives me a peace and a hope for my future. A hope about my immediate future and my distant future. Being a Mormon also helps to put me into positions where I can be of service to others and follow my Heavenly Father.

How I live my faith

I earned the rank of Eagle Scout, which gave me the opportunity to serve as a youth leader at campouts, scout trainings, church activities and service projects. I enjoyed studying the scriptures every morning at 6:00am with several other youth in seminary, and going to church meetings and activities each week. I'm am also currently serving a mission in the Oregon Portland Mission for 2 years. I started my mission in April 2013 and will get back in April 2015. Being a missionary is one way that I live my faith because as a missionary I'm leaving behind my family, friends, electronics, music, school and everything else for 2 years so that I can serve the Lord, and help bring other people the same love for the Lord that I have.
