Hi I'm Ore

"I speak for a living. I love food! I love shoes! I love life! I am a Mormon."

About Me

I am married with 2 children and I enjoy many things. Travelling, socialising and spending time working out are a few of the many things that I get involved in. Bootcamp is one of my favourite activities and I would recommend it to anyone who is serious about getting fit. I work mainly with young people helping them to develop their public speaking skills and working on their confidence. This is more than a job to me, it is more of a mission. I feel that every young person I work with or meet should be better off as a result of having spent time with me, so I am committed to doing the best I can whenever I work with anyone.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon for the simple reason that I know that the gospel which we live is the true gospel of Jesus Christ. I have prayed about this and received a strong witness that Jesus Christ is the head of the church and the principles we live will bring us closer to our Heavenly Father. I am not perfect by any means but I know that I am living a good life. I know that I am a good person because of the way I treat others. Being a Mormon simply means that I should love God with all my heart and treat others as I would like to be treated. It is as simple as that! Of course, it is not always easy - but it is simple.

How I live my faith

I am full active in my ward and I have been involved in many callings in my ward. I have worked with the youth, the children and the women's organisation and I currently teach. I am presently learning Spanish as we have many Spanish members in my ward and I feel that it is important to communicate with everyone that I worship with if I am to form bonds with them. Being a family is important to me and it is a huge part of the Church. We are all brothers and sisters so it falls upon me to take responsibility to establish these ties. I am determined to speak Spanish well after which I will focus more on learning Hindi.

Do Mormons only help Mormons?

This is one of the reasons I love being a member of the church. Mormons believe that all of our fellowmen matter and it is our responsibility and duty to help everyone, be them a Mormon or not. The Church as an organization is involved in many projects worldwide and we are encouraged as individuals to do what we can to assist others Show more Show less
