Hi I'm Josh Reid

I grew up in Bountiful Utah. I'm 19 years old. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am 19 years old and living in Canada! I have an amazing family that I'm so blessed to have. I have an older sister and brother who are both married and two younger brothers and two amazing parents. I also have a niece and nephew! I love any kind of sport and being active! My favorite is golf! That's always been something that my family and I have loved to do together. I also love to travel and see different parts of the world! Although I haven't been to far or seen to much I would love to continue traveling and seeing the world. I love music, being with my family and friends, and having fun!

Why I am a Mormon

My parents are faithful members of the church and I have spent all of my life as a Mormon. But that doesn't mean that I don't know that these things are true for myself. I continue to be a member of this church because I know that it is the true church of Jesus Christ and our Heavenly Father. I also know that Joseph Smith was a true prophet of the Lord and that through him this church and the Divine Power of God was restored. I know that by revelation he translated the Book of Mormon. I know that this book can bring us closer to God and teach us more about his love for us and how he works more than any other book. I know that Jesus Christ died for our sins and suffered so that we may one day live with him and our families again. I know that the Atonement is real and that it can heal us. That it's not just there to cover our sins but that the Savior took upon himself ALL of the things that we could ever struggle with or feel. He knows us perfectly. He loves us perfectly. I love this church and all that it has given and blessed me with. I know that the gospel can bring you this same happiness.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by loving my Heavenly Father and my savior Jesus Christ. I know that this gospel is true and that the things we are asked to do is because they love us and they want us to one day return and live with them again. I do my best to follow the example of Jesus Christ and live my life as he did. I love to serve those around me and I'm grateful for the opportunities that come to me through the church! Just as the savior said, "Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment. And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself." I try and let those principles govern my life. I know that this has brought me true happiness in my life and I'm so grateful for the knowledge I have of the gospel and for being able to be a part of it.
