Hi I'm Stephanie B

I was baptized at age 19. I love couponing and I love my huge family. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I have lived in the same city my whole life. I went to school in a different city because my mom is a teacher there. My freshman year of high school I met a guy who changed my life forever. Sometimes I wonder if he realizes how he impacted my life. He gradually introduced me to the church over many years. When I was 19 I was taught by the best missionaries ever. Both Canadian :) I was baptized in November of 2006. My life will never be the same and I am eternally grateful for that. I was married in the Redlands Temple in March of 2011 to a wonderful man. We have a beautiful daughter and I am blessed to stay at home with her. I go to school at night to finish up my degree in Business. I love watching singing shows like The Voice and American Idol. In my free time I coupon. I love coupons! I have wonderful friends and a wonderful family. I love my life.

Why I am a Mormon

I mentioned a little bit about my conversion to the church in the about me section. When I was being taught by the missionaries I was an active Catholic. I went to church with my family every Sunday and I was a lecturer in Sunday Mass. I began going to the LDS church out of friendship at first. I was also curious about what others believed because the only church I had ever been to was my own. I felt welcome there but I had no intention of joining the church. As weeks went by I was invited to learn more. The missionaries were wonderful and personable. They helped me feel comfortable and let me ask them any questions I wanted. The amazing thing was that they always had an answer! I thought it was amazing that two young men knew so much about what they believed. I lived my whole life and didn't truly understand what I even believed. It was a stressful time in my life and I thought about not meeting with them any longer because it was too difficult to fit into my schedule and I didn't feel like I was getting anywhere. I had been reading and praying about their message as they had asked me to do but I did not feel like I was getting an answer. After a powerful message from the Missionaries at the last meeting, they challenged me to pray once more with Real Intent. Once I decided that I really did want to know and I wanted to do what God wanted me to do, not what anyone else wanted me to do, I received my answer. I will never forget the feeling as the Holy Ghost warmed me from my head to my toes. I KNEW that I had to be baptized. I did not know very much about the church at that time, but I knew that I needed to be baptized and the rest would fall into place. I was baptized 2 weeks later by Elder Wilson and every day since then has been more amazing than the last. I know that the reason for the amazingness, is that I have the true Gospel in my life and the constant companionship of the Holy Ghost. I could never and will never deny the answer I received from God.

How I live my faith

I served a mission in the Greatest Mission in all the land, Florida Ft. Lauderdale from 2008-2011. Serving amongst such wonderful people helped me grow so much. I am currently the Young Women's President. I am glad that I get to spend so much time with the youth of our church, they keep me young! Every Sunday and Wednesday I get to meet with them and help them in their spiritual and temporal progression. We attend church as a family every Sunday and are involved with mostly everything that goes on there. If I miss one week I feel like a part of me is missing because the people there are so much a part of our lives. We pray as a family and individually every day and study the scriptures. I try to be an example to everyone around me, especially my extended family who are not members of the church.
