Hi I'm Tristen

I've grown up in a little town in Nevada. I love to preach the gospel and I have a strong testimony of Jesus Christ and His Gospel

About Me

I come from a small town where many people know who I am. I am the oldest of three children. I recently graduated high school, and I am now serving a full-time mission in Mexico. I enjoy playing and watching others play football. I am very outgoing and I like to make new friends. Staying busy is one of my priorities! I do not like to waste my time sitting around doing nothing.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I understand that this is Christ's church. He has done everything for me, and it is because of Him that I know that I can be forgiven of my sins. I am far from perfect, but it is because of him that I can be made better. I know that Joseph Smith was a true prophet, and that he did restore The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. He was also the person that did translate the Book of Mormon. After studying the Book of Mormon for myself, I can testify that the Book of Mormon is true. The Book of Mormon is the reason to why my family and I converted to the church. It has brought more happiness into our lives than any other book every could. The gospel of Jesus Christ teaches all about happiness, and what it takes to achieve that eternal happiness. Being a member of this church brings that happiness into my life. I have also seen it bring the same happiness into many other people's lives. I know that missionaries are called of God to go out and preach the gospel. Missionaries helped teach my family as we were learning more about the church, and they, along with the Holy Ghost, helped us see and understand that this is the true church. I have seen and lived life with and without the gospel in it, and I can say that I would be nowhere near where I am today without it. I hope that one day everyone will accept Christ into their lives. God loves each one of us, and he wants us all to return to live with Him again someday.I know and can testify that all that I have said is true, and that I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I am very involved with many of the things that the church does. I have had many callings that have allowed me to interact with everyone in my town, especially the youth. I have also spent the last couple of years teaching with the missionaries in my area. By doing this, I have decided to accept a mission call, and I will be serving others for the next two years of my life. I try to help others as often as I can because I have found that service is one of the greatest tools in helping others understand the Love of Christ, and that He loves each of us! I try to be positive when I am around others, and I hope that by the good choices that I make, others can learn from me by example.
